Course Description

* This culminating course is required to complete your Micro-Credentialing requirements. (optional) - What is Micro-Credentialing?

Are you new to electronic resources management (ERM)? Would you like to learn more about how to handle electronic resources efficiently and effectively? This 3-class certificate program will introduce you to the fundamentals of ERM.

To earn the certificate, you must complete the following courses (and this capstone project):

Learning Objectives
  • Learn how to acquire electronic resources and implement access to them
  • Understand common maintenance issues in ERM and troubleshoot problems
  • Identify ways to assess the use of electronic resources and preserve them for long-term use
Prerequisites

Complete the three prerequisite courses listed above.

Homework Expectations
  • Each class requires a written assignment. To earn the Electronic Resource Management certificate, you must also complete this capstone project.
  • It is designed for individual participation; each individual must register.
